When I changed careers, I wanted to bring meaning to my new assignments. Because I felt the need to consider the end user first, I took the Opquast training and then the certification. Certification

Rule n° 237 - Copying of content is not blocked.

My content is precious, I don't want it stolen. But I want it to be on the web, because otherwise no one sees it. No problem, just put in a script that will block the display of source code or copy and paste it. So, yes, but hold on. There's something you should know: when content is on the Web, it can be copied anyway. You can slow down the copying, but you risk disturbing other users. Disabling the right click will certainly not bother people who want to copy your content and will probably bother some users who want to view or promote it.

Goal

Facilitate the use of content by users (translation, reference, quotation etc.)
Allow users to control their browsers.

Solution technique

Do not use JavaScript or CSS, or any other technique, to block the browser's "copy" functionality in website pages.
