Rule n° 87 - Complex processes are accompanied by a list of their steps.
It is always nice to know in advance the number of steps or estimate the time required to achieve a long process.
Goal
- Give users visibility of the actions they are going to be performing (time, order of steps, information required to complete them, etc.).
- Prevent users from feeling trapped in a process that takes longer than expected.
Solution technique
For any complex process, for example an order form, display at each step the complete list of all the steps in the process.

- Check, that the list of steps is indicated on each page, generally in the form of a step path at the head of the page or form.
