Goal

• Allow users to unsubscribe, without necessarily having to send out an email.

Implementation

Provide a page dedicated to the newsletter, in which the subscribe form is accompanied by an unsubscribe form.

Include the unsubscribe link in any other “quick” registration forms integrated into other pages of the site.

Control

For each website offering a newsletter:

• Check that a page on the website offers an unsubscribe form;
• Check that this page is accessible from browsing the website
• Check that the cancellation of the subscription is working.
