Rule n° 170 - Unsubscribing from within the newsletter does not require email confirmation.

When unsubscribing from a newsletter or advertising e-mail, the click on the unsubscribe link must confirm the unsubscription. Any other request, such as entering the e-mail address or sending an e-mail cancellation request is creating a poor user expereince.

Manage the unsubscribe process specifically from the link in the body of the newsletter, so that the user only has to give an online confirmation, without a confirmation email having to be sent.


Activate the unsubscribe link in the newsletter and check that the process does not return a confirmation email.
