Rule n° 155 - Mechanisms for closing windows are visually linked to their content.

In recent years, the advertising and marketing departments have shown tremendous inventiveness to ensure that you are in contact with their content for as long as possible. To do this, the closing buttons on advertising windows are sometimes far away and even brutally separated from the content or sometimes, the use of transparencies allows the closing cross to be displayed in an isolated area of the screen. Implementation

Position each modal window close button or similar in its visual block (usually in the upper right corner) or adjacently.

Control

Check that each window close button is placed in the affected block in question or adjacently.
